ABOUT

Hey, I'm Viktor.

I'm a 30-year-old filmmaker, editor, and camera geek from Hungary with over 10 years of professional experience in video production— and a lifetime spent riding bikes. I’ve worked across the creative video industry as editor and videographer, and I’m equally comfortable behind a workstation or hanging off the back of a shuttle truck in the woods.

I’ve been documenting the mountain bike world since I first got into it, blending my background in video production with a deep connection to the riding culture itself. From lo-fi shredits to mini-docs, I’m into formats that feel real and honest — inspired by old freeride movies and the energy of BMX and skate films.

Whether I’m on the trail or at the edit bay, I’m always looking for ways to capture what makes this sport and community special — and to share that with people in a way that feels fun, relatable, and real.

Currently based in Hungary, mobile and available across Europe and beyond. Always up for new collaborations — especially if bikes are involved.

WORK & PROJECTS

vision and style

I’ve been filming bikes for as long as I’ve been riding them. Over the years, I’ve always liked experimenting with techniques, setups, and formats — chasing the kind of energy that made me a fan of the sport in the first place.

My biggest influences come from old freeride movies, and later from BMX, skate, and snowboard videos — raw, gritty, often low-budget, but full of feeling. That spirit still drives how I try to approach a camera.

These days, I’m especially drawn to more documentary-style storytelling. I’m interested in showing the realness of mountain biking — not just the riding, but the people, the scenes, the moments between. I want my work to feel honest, fun, and a bit rough around the edges in the best way.

My goal is simple: to make MTB media that feels cool again. Not in a hype-driven way, but in a makes-you-want-to-go-ride-with-your-friends kind of way. If that means inspiring someone to grab a bike, get out in the woods, or build something with their crew, then I’m doing it right.

clients and collaborations

Over the years, alongside post-production gigs and corporate work, I’ve been lucky to create MTB content for some awesome brands and crews.

Some clients and collaborations include:
Red Bull, Shimano, Cannondale, Chromag, Marzocchi, Schwalbe, CPGang, KLND, Kolovna, Store13, NorthernLines, and Gepida.

Whether it’s branded edits, event recaps, product features, or just capturing the vibe of a scene — I’m always up for turning a good idea into something visual.

TECH and GEAR

Camera

Current Camera Setup:

- RED Scarlet-W Dragon 5K cinema camera
- Fujifilm X-E4 mirrorless camera
- EF & X-mount lenses (covering 6mm–200mm)

Coming soon:

- A pro-level camcorder setup (Sony PXW-Z200 / Canon XF605 class) for fast, versatile field shooting

Editing hardware

My setup is mostly mobile but still built for post-production.
I run everything from a single workstation, whether I’m on the road or set up at the studio.

- 16" MacBook Pro (M1 Max, 64GB RAM, 4TB SSD)
Fully loaded and optimized for editing and finishing — wherever I happen to be.

Software

I’m comfortable working in most major video and photo editing environments, and can adapt to what the project calls for. These are the tools I use daily:

  • DaVinci Resolve Studio – my go-to for the last couple of years

  • Adobe Premiere Pro – years of experience, still in the mix when needed

  • Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop – for photo work and image prep.

Personal Projects & Platforms

Outside of client work, I’m constantly tinkering with media projects — whether that’s solo edits, small crew productions, or just documenting the culture I’m part of.

Loam. — A creative production company I co-founded, focused on the action sports world. We work on everything from brand campaigns to shredits.

masszivkru — Our local MTB crew and community. I run the YouTube channel with 1.4k subs and a tight following. It’s raw, local, and built around having fun on bikes with good people and plenty of self-irony.

yet to be launched:

a magazine
(early stages) — An independent MTB media platform I’m slowly building — for the freeride culture, inspired by classic skate and snowboard magazines. It will mix short docs, community stories, and core cultural content, all tied together through a website and YouTube channel that keeps things real, fun, and worth following.

a personal YouTube channel (in progress) — A side project I’m playing with, built around ideas that don’t quite fit anywhere else.

I also shoot stills, mostly as a passion thing — but if a project calls for it, I’m always happy to bring a camera.

RIDING

I’ve been riding bikes since I was a kid — started out racing XC at 9, but quickly found myself more drawn to dirt jumps, freeride lines, and just messing around in the woods.

These days, I split my time between all kinds of riding: flowing through bike parks, sessioning peaky dirt jumps, climbing into the backcountry, or ripping around on an e-bike.

I’m not chasing the gnarliest tricks or KOMs — for me, it’s more about finding flow and having a good time on two wheels.

Racing

Racing far from my main focus, but I still like getting between the tape now and then — it’s a great way to let loose and stay connected to the scene.
